We are Lennert and Roan, two friends who love board games. For years, almost every game night looked the same: we would set up Catan, play, and have a great time — but when we wanted to try something new, we never quite knew what to reach for next.
Picking the right game turned out to be surprisingly hard. There are thousands of titles, and most of them are described in ways that do not tell you whether they actually fit your group, your time, or your mood. So in 2026, in Antwerp, we built the tool we wished we had: a simple way to discover games that match how you like to play.
We also love visiting board game cafés and trying out new games whenever we can. Those evenings are where most of our favourite discoveries happen, and they shaped how Meeplehome thinks about recommendations — practical, personal, and focused on helping you decide what to play next.
